Story 01 · The long haul

Eight hours away, and nothing arrived broken

Long distance is where most moving companies hand your things to a stranger. Wayne doesn't. The crew that wraps your bedroom in Baltimore is the same crew that carries it through the door in Florida — one truck, one team, one phone number the whole way.

Joshua moved 14 times in 12 years before he called us. Eight hours of highway later, not a single item was damaged. That's the whole business model: load it like it has to survive a road trip, because it does.

“Not a single item arrived damaged — 8 hour drive away.”

Story 02 · Taken apart the right way

The dresser that didn't fit — until it did

Some pieces simply will not go down a Baltimore rowhome staircase in one piece. So the tool bags come out. Drawers pulled, rails unscrewed, hardware bagged and taped to the frame it belongs to, panels blanket-wrapped before anything touches a doorway.

Then it happens in reverse at the new place. Nothing gets left leaning against a wall for you to figure out on a Sunday. If we took it apart, we put it back together in the room you point at.

“They unmounted my 55" TV, took down my headboard and sectional — everything transported safely.”

Story 03 · The blue velvet job

A bedroom set, rebuilt before we left

This one is a favorite. A blue velvet tufted bed and a matching sectional — the kind of furniture that shows every scuff. Headboard leaned against the wall, hardware laid out in a neat row on the carpet, sectional halves carried in one at a time.

By the time the crew rolled the truck door down, the bed was standing, the sectional was pushed against the right wall and the cushions were on. That's the standard: the last thing you should have to do after a move is build furniture.

“They even set up my bed and dresser.” — L Williams

Story 04 · Offices, gyms and storage units

Not just houses — anything heavy, anywhere

Gym equipment down a hallway. Office suites cleared floor by floor. Storage units re-stacked so the last box actually fits. Marketplace pickups, dump runs, appliance swaps, safes through colonial stairwells and a piano out of a basement within the hour.

If it's heavy, awkward or needs to disappear today, it's a normal Tuesday for this crew. One call gets a flat number, and the truck is usually closer than you think.

Story 05 · The green wrap

Why everything leaves the room looking like this

That green stretch wrap is the cheapest insurance in the business. Mattress and box spring get a blanket first, then wrap head to toe, then tape only on the wrap — never on your fabric. Dressers get their drawers taped shut. Rugs get rolled and sleeved. Glass tops get corner-boarded before anyone lifts.

It costs the crew fifteen extra minutes at the front of the job and it's the reason review after review says the same thing: nothing scratched, nothing stained, nothing missing. Wayne would rather burn a roll of wrap than knock on your door with bad news.

Story 06 · Box math

The wall of boxes that becomes one clean trip

Loading a truck is a puzzle with a deadline. Heavy and square goes to the nose, wall-to-wall, floor to ceiling. Mattresses ride the side rails. Rugs and long items get slotted into the seams. Fragile crowns the stack, strapped in tiers so nothing shifts when the truck takes the Beltway.

Done right, a full one-bedroom is one trip instead of two — and one trip is the difference between a four-hour day and a seven-hour day on your invoice. That's not a trick, it's just twenty years of loading trucks in Baltimore.

“Quick, professional, efficient and amazing at their job at an amazing price!” — Joshua Gilbert

Story 07 · After dark

9pm, parking lot lights on, truck still running

Leases don't always end at a convenient hour. Elevators get reserved for the evening. Landlords hand over keys at 8pm. This photo is a Tuesday night load-out under apartment floodlights — the yellow truck backed up to the sidewalk, boxes going out two at a time, gloves on, mask up.

Open 24 hours isn't a slogan on this site. Customers have called at 11pm and had a crew on the property the same night. If your move has to happen after dark, it happens after dark.

“I called the same day and they arrived within an hour.” — Vicki Morgan

Two dressers and a headboard, sealed in green wrap and corner-padded on a customer's rug, waiting on the freight elevator window. Nothing rides an elevator naked. Nothing leans on a wall unprotected. That's the whole difference between a moving crew and two guys with a truck.

Heavy on the bottom, light on top, no air in between

Small boxes low, large boxes high, every seam filled so the wall can't shift on I-95.

A box wall like this isn't luck. Smalls and mediums carry the weight at the base, larges ride on top because they hold light bulk, and every gap gets a soft item so the stack can't rock when the truck brakes.

Pack it right and one truckload does what two sloppy loads would — which is the same as saving you an hour of labor.

The long corridor at the storage facility

Flat dolly, three men, one narrow hallway with a sprinkler room door swinging into it.

Storage jobs are half moving, half logistics: sign in, book the loading bay, run the corridor, stack the unit. We bring flat dollies for the long hauls so nothing gets carried farther than it has to.

Once we're inside the unit we stack to the ceiling and leave an aisle down the middle so you can actually reach your things later.

Tinsel still on it. Two men, one dolly, zero chipped paint.

Arcade cabinets, a slot machine, a fiberglass carousel horse wrapped in Christmas tinsel — this unit had all three. Odd-shaped pieces get padded at the contact points and lifted by two people, never dragged.

Dwayne's vest is in the frame: services listed on the back, name on the front. Every crew member wears one so you always know who's in your house.

Walk the room first. Every time.

Before a single strap comes off the truck, the crew walks the space: what comes apart, what goes first, where the floor runners lay, which door the sectional actually fits through. Five minutes of walking saves two hours of guessing — and it's why the quote you're given is the price you pay.

Questions

Straight answers

Still unsure? Call (443) 447-0119 and ask Wayne directly — no call center, no script.

How fast can you get to me?

Often the same day — sometimes within the hour. We answer the phone 24 hours a day, every day. Last-minute and next-day moves are a big part of what we do.

How much does a move cost?

You get a straight number over the phone before we ever roll a truck. Pricing depends on crew size, truck size, distance and how many stairs are involved. No surprise add-ons on moving day — what Wayne quotes is what you pay.

Do you wrap and protect my furniture?

Always. Moving blankets, shrink wrap, floor protection and door padding come standard. It's the number one thing our customers mention in reviews.

Do you move pianos, safes and other heavy items?

Yes. We've moved pianos out of basements and up hills, and safes through narrow colonial stairwells. Tell us the item and where it lives and we'll bring the right crew and equipment.

Do you do long distance moves?

Yes — Maryland to Florida, Philadelphia to Baltimore, DC, Virginia, Delaware and beyond. Same crew loads and unloads.
